Well we call this one a Red Hot Poker.....Dont know any more that that. Flower can be 12-14 inches in length. Englsh Blue Bells in the background.

I took this last fall at the old long lost Family Cemetary
I have no Idea what it is...For reference thats a pine needle
hanging on the right. The local garden Club around 1915 planted
wildflowers in the Cemetary.......If you know what this is let me know
It will stare at you with those little eyes looking up at you and saying
Do you know what I am?????/

Yep, it's "Doll's Eyes".

Had to look up the offical name though--White Baneberry (aka Actaea pachypoda). Quite poisonous, but a logical wildflower for the early 1900's.

Now don't go making any baneberry tea!

Wow! Thank you so much! the pic isn't up and now I got to find it again....

Wait till I tell my Mom, Her Mom helped plant that cemetary when she was a little girl around 1910!
