Is there any way to have more work units automatically downloaded to my computer. At this time, have my computer automatically connect to the Seti server when required (no dialup) and I normally have two WU's running and two waiting to run. I'd like to have more waiting to run in case of internet or Seti/Boinc problems. Any ideas?

Yes, there is a very easy way.

Go to "Your Account", "Preferences", "General" "View or edit general preferences", which brings you here.

In the setting "Connect to network about every xx days" you can change the value to some 1 or 1.5 days and after this in Boinc you will need to choose "Update project" in order to bring this value on your PC.

Once you have downloaded a cache of WU's, you can still adapt once again this value in function of what you wish.

Good answer to this question. The only thing I can't find is "Update Project" in Boinc. I must be looking in the wrong location. Help?

In the BOINC manager, under the tab project you have a line 'Update project'. Select a project and click on update.

I think it's worth mentioning it: "Update project" will only show in the
left panel if, on the right panel, a line containing a project is selected.
