I have the manager and things are bad...
I am doing work units at a rate of 4.18 per work unit and this is slow for my machine. Also I guess I sent them? I have in no way to tell? Because for some reason or another I have the same stats as I did when I started using Boinc? How do people have the screen saver and actually....what the hell is going on? I need some serious help here people....I've been a SETI user now since 1999 jun 4 and this new thing is bugging me dearly. Any help would be tremendously appreciated...I think I speled that correct?
Thanks
Bishop

I believe this is a quite normal time. I'm using a 2.4@2.88GHz running HT and I'm doing some 4h. to 4.2h. for 1 WU.

Also I guess I sent them?

Yes they have been send. You can see this if you go to "Your account" and then to your results.

Because for some reason or another I have the same stats as I did when I started using Boinc

It takes some 7 to 10 days to have some credit. You claimed credit has to bee comapred to the one of at least 2 other hosts. As there is a deadline of 14 days for returning the results it can take up to 14 days if everythings goes well.
Returning the results is a 2 step procedure:
1. uploading the result (spikes, guassians....amplitudes of them and so on),
2. claiming your credit.

As for what your PC did, everything looks fine.

Read the News at the homepage
Have a look at the Technical News
Look if your question is not answered at the Boinc Wiki

Best greetings, Thierry
