RIght on, things seem to be sort of back to normal. I was just curious if anyone has been able to submit any finished/completed work units. I have 14 waiting to be sent and keep trying to update/flush them but all submissions have failed. I think i have sent 2 completed WU's since last night. There's no problems downloading them (14 ready to be crunched) I just want to upload them and get rid of them LOL.

Can any light be shead?

I have also had the same problem... I just keep doing a retry on them, and eventually (after many, many tries) they do get through. Something must still not be working!

SETI/BOINC is being overwhelmed by people trying to report their WUs and get new ones after an extended outage. Things should be back to "normal" soon (whatever that means! )

Theoretically, things will be back to "normal" by tonight (Wednesday, U.S. Eastern) or Thursday, although it might take as late as Friday morning (again, speaking U.S time) for everyone to get their cache filled back up and get everything reported.

I understand the problem with being overwhelmed, but honestly, the uploads should take a considerably smaller amount of time due to there average 10kb size. Downloading WU's to the client are at least 10 times larger.

Someone needs to look into the server that we upload to and make sure its working correctly.

Hi there,

Maybe dowloads get more priority than uploads ... I was able to upload about 25 results since yesterday. Maybe i was just lucky - but my intuition says things are clearing up. I think the validator state indicates this, too:

Server status: Waiting for validation: 25,832

Keep the faith
