Hi, My team is currently ranked around 50th...give or take, depending on verifcation times.... Just curious as to the total number of teams involved in the SETI program? I didn't want to just start clicking "next 20" until I ran out of pages....kinda wastes bandwidth. :) Anybody know the total number of teams? |

There appear to be 94803 teams as this posting. When you go to look at the teams. Click next 20 just once. Then in the url line you will see at the end 'offset=20.' Change that number to any multiple of 20 all the way up to 94800 and you will jump to that range immediately. |

I would have been clicking for a while to get to rank 3793. |

Actually prior to your post I had only gone down the list to the top 2400. That's when the credits starts hitting zero. Now that I know there are over 94,800 I realize my chances of ever having another person join the team I created are approximately 1.0548189403288925455945486957164 X 10-5. Don't get technical on me, I said approximately! haha. And then of course factoring in that my team is lost among the tens of thousands of other low resulting teams WAY down on the list where extremely few people will ever get to, I would say my chances of getting a team mate are somewhat less than Saddam Hussein getting elected prime minister of England. No, i'm not depressed, not that much anyway. sniff sniff. |
