I've currently a Seti Account (activated classic account) and an Account for Einstein. Both are Bonic accounts and so my question, if it's somehow possible to merge this two accounts (that i've one account for Seti+Einstein where Credits are together). |

www.boincstats.com sums up the credits. It is not and probably will never be possible with BOINC to really merge the accounts as the projects do not "know" eachother (technically), it wouldn't make much sense. There is a common ID though, the CPID (cross project identifier), that allows to find out the relation between the acounts in the stats. But this works only if you do not have the projects on separate machines, at least one machine has to exchange the CPID numbers. |

There are 4 requirements to get the external CPIDs to line up. 1) The email addresses for the two projects must be identical including case foo@bar.com is not the same as Foo@bar.com 2) There must be a path from server to host to server that covers all projects. The easiest way of doing this is to have one machine that is connected to all projects. 3) 4.19 and earlier. There must be a successful connection to all projects for which the CPID will change. This must include the download of work if that work is requested. 3) 4.20 and later. There must be 2 successful connections to the new project. 4) The project server(s) must publish the stats XML.
