I like cats and chatting, hence this name.
I'm a 36 yr. old electronic engineer from Holland and I always was intrigued by the SETI work. Now, thanks to an ADSL connection from work, I'm able to contribute. (shhh, don't tell them!)
Keep up the good work guys, I'm sure one day we'll get rewarded !

Lifeforms other than we know of this planet? And intelligent life, to boot?
Well, with zillions of planets like ours, carbon-based life should exist somewhere, no?
Besides, why only think in terms of carbon-based? Why not silicon?
Didn't we already send messages across since we invented radio? Let's just hope other civilisations also use radio-frequent signals for communication.........or, if you believe in X-files and B-movies, let's hope not *grin*.
I think SETI@home is an excellent opportunity to bring birds of many feathers together. Just look what I got into my inbox since I joined :-) |
