Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@Home to participate in the science behind the SETI project. I sincerely hope the SETI@Home project can continue and find research time on the facilities that make this possible, including the VLA at the NRAO in Soccoro.

I hope that in all that vastness of countless galaxies, stars, suns and other planets that there is a developed civilization out there, looking up toward the sky with wonder, just as we do on our fragile ecosystem flying through space in orbit of our sun. Wonder at what, and who might be out there. Maybe one day in our distant future we will find the answer to this question. It is my hope that projects such as SETI, and the VLA, will be part of the key to unlocking this mystery, in concert with other research projects and hardware such as Hubble and the James Webb telescopes.
