Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
I've just started to run SETI@Home again. My computer died and I have just now gotten around to running it again. I think I jumped on this one as soon as heard about it, back when it first got started. Why? I just thought it was a worth while project.
2.What are your views about the project?
I can't believe that our government will spend billions raping the environment, bombing foreigners, building and then dimanteling nuclear weapons, and then cancel this program. I'm glad these fine ladies and gentlemen didn't give up. I for one salute not only the wonderful people at SETI, but the brilliant fellow who first suggested the networked computing idea and then putting it into practice.
3.Any suggestions?
Hurry up and find some aliens! I want a light-saber, sonic screwdriver, and hover-car!!!! |
