Hello all, my name is Wes , 27 years old and I live in drought stricken Calgary, Alberta (Canada). I work at a very respectable technical as a duplication operator.
My hobbies are more or less limited to the repair or creation of computers, and yeah, I do leave the house to shoot some pool from time to time.
Oh yeah, love my beer! (But then again, who doesn't!)

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I am a big UFO/Alien Freak. Big X-files fan. I love everything to do with the possiblility of intelligent life out there. Always admired the SETI people and the task they have put upon themselves, one of the most worthy and important tasks the world has seen.
I'm sure that life will be detected either by the good folks at SETI or if they decide to pay us a visit here at home (Trying to get the mental picture of Independance day out of my head)... It will happen one way or the other, I just hope it happens in my lifetime, it would be a shame to miss such a historic event.
Just found the SETI@Home program and now I can finally be a part of this task... Allbeit a small part but hey, it's an honour to be participating in this.
And hey, remember... 'The Truth is out there' (I'm betting everyone has used this quote... Oh well, another won't hurt). |
