I'm a retired 68 year old Physician Assistant living in South-Central Pennsylvania. I'm a retired PA that worked nearly 30 years for the Department of Veterans Affairs. I was the Clinical Director of Geriatric Care. My wife and I have a condominium in Ocean City, Maryland and enjoy spending time there and with our grandchildren.
I have a 35-year-old son that has always been interested in Science Fiction (big Arthur C. Clarke fan) and is very interested in the SETI project. He got me interested in and researching the project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SET@ home is a fascinating way to have the "lay-public" involved with a project that will reap rewards someday in the future. I am in hopes that Extraterrestrial Intelligence will be discovered in my lifetime and with the SETI@ home project, the odds are improved.
