I'm a 39 year old computer techy, running several IBM P-serie servers as a professional and some linux computers at home as private servers.
We also have linux based servers in a colo for our gaming community.
My hobbies include gaming, developing games, kite surfing and all kind of small spin off projects.
Im trying to get a job with the space industry, preferably with estec ESA. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I'm running Seti because I enjoy the concept from a few different angles.
First of, it would be really cool that we find some intelligent life before curiosity finds some form of life on mars. :)
Second i believe that using the internet for these kinds of projects is the reason it is created and it helps mankind in general to progress. Having so many people with a common goal.
As a third it is just cool to have these lazy hamsters (slang for cpu's) running around like they should. |
