Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I think the question of is there other life in the universe is a very important question. I think this project is extremely important and I just built a new Linux computer solely for the purpose of running SETI@home. 16 processors to handle as much data as I can afford.
My only suggestion would me more news on how the project is doing. All the site says is what the project is about but I've off and on been a part of this for over 10 years and so far no news. I'm guessing if we do find something it will be major news but have we atleast identified any stars or I don't know... anything?
