well lets see im now 32 yrs of sge i live out of missouri i used to run the seti at home project back before windows on a commador 64 pc back in the 90s love the idea and the fact that others that feel the same way can help out in the search for other life my occupation used to be an electrician till a i had a car accident so now im disabled not much to do as far as hobbies go i worked 2 jobs from the time i was 16 till 2 yrs ago when i bacame dis.
however i have always felt that there is more out there than we are led to belive im more than certain the government has known about the fact there is other life out there besides us and whether its true or not even if we were to find life out there with these programs i feel that the government would never allow it to be brought to light i mean can you imagine the reprocutions of such a thing i mean the church the government it would all fail as a result i belive i would like to hope if contact was made we as people would be grasious enough to atleast be peacefull and the amount of knowledge that such a thing would bring could easily springboard us into the future and you can add me to the list of et nuts thats fine i dont mind persicute and whatever you may its only human vanity that anyone would belive we are alone in space and granted it may not be life as in a human form or even a form we could even grasp i do know this if contact was ever to be made i would hope it would be with one of us et nuts than the government i mean thier non disclosure policy on everything so i really do hope this program is for real and that berkley would not allow the evidence to be buried but to bring to the public im not saying i have seen or incountered aliens or u.f.o.s but i have seen things that can not be explained i have even had an instance one time with witnesses to the fact a larg object no lights not even really any sound a very low hum once back in 96 it blocked out stars where it was not your traditional saucer or even tube shape this thing was in a triangluar pattern and i wouldnt have known that except it was a clear sky no clouds but there were stars at every point around said object and once it was gone helicoptors and jets alike low flying went over the house over 3 -4 times no we called noone nore have we told others before now but odd why all the activity once it was gone if it was nothing right but like i said call me crazy or not its all good i know and i have others that have seen the same and other things to which cant be explained movement by objects that defy all know flight crafts but also i have no proof so i can not say without a doubt if it was or not but the one and constant truth i do know is that the truth is out there somewhere and i would like to think programs like this will eventually work and discover i want to belive i know not really the profile you would think but this is me
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
i run the seti at home project because i wanna know if there is life out there i fail to belive we have the tech to actually communicate however i also feel almost every life would be able to comunicate if for nothing else binary code as this being all infomation can be sent digitally this way even an advanced lifeform should be able to break it down and decode i mean if they have the mean to go from solar system to solar system they r way ahead of us.
my views on the project i love it and the fact its out of brekley .edu that already says alot being from an educational facility i just hope the program isnt another cover up by its self i have never heard that anyone has found anything and i mean the seti projects been going since before i was born i had heard they shut it down back in the 70s so i can only assume that the few dishs that remain are still in use but i can not say without any certainty that this is for real but like i say i wanna belive howeven im also hamperd by the fact im also logical and without def proof i can not say its a scam or not but i run the program in hopes that it is for real and as far as suggestions well really just one i would like info as to has anything been found at all in the time this program has been running and if other life may have the ability to travel at light speeds i would also like to think they would be able to tell if a beam was being shot into space and be able to avoid it and the next is they are moving so fast would it even be possible to determine a craft or e.t. i dont think they would just hang out for a picture so to speak and if they get our transmissions of lets say tv or news if you were from else where and saw how much we war and deplete our resouces im thinking i wouldnt just come down and say hi either i mean ive heard of crashes and sitings and so on but no evidence but what the government allows i mean come on they dont like the occupy protest so what they do a media blackout whos to say they dont do the same when it comes to programs like this but like i say i want to belive the truth is out there
