Personal background
I am a 70 yr. old male in Crossville Tn and am having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to use Seti@home,not a real genius when it comes to computers but love to learn. Retired from Florida Power And Light after 33 1/2 years (was a foreman and trouble dispatcher. Moved to Tn from Davie Fl in 2005. I can't understand how anyone that thinks they have a brain at all can believe there is no other life but the life on Earth,we are probably with least intellect I myself believe any thing is possible. When I was in the USAF I would see formations on the radar moving at tremendous speeds and change direction ,like a 90 degree turn, we would give it to the officer in charge and he would put it in the trash can, that was in 1962,nothing we had would even come close. those people that don't think there is any other life should get their head out of the sand before ET walks up behind them. Never even turned a computer on until I made the dispatcher job,I love them just can't keep up with them. this says use BBCode tags to format your text I would if I knew what it was. I mainly love old cars,my hobby but slow at that also.I have a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo that I have completely disassembled and am in the process of putting it back together has a few changes like a 96 corvette LT1 engine and 4 speed auto,4 wheel disc brakes digital dash gauges and a few more.Originally from Allentown Pa moved to Fl in 1949. Well enough on my life history
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.There is some one else out there no doubt in my mind
2.Love to see some one that isn't like the people that run this great country(well could be great again if we could get some honest people in there) that is always lying or trying to cover some thing up they think everyone is as foolish as they are
3.No suggestions just need to figure out how to use this, had the graph once but can't seem to get it again. I wish I knew all the best setting to use for my computer, dell Studio XPS 9000 1 TB hard drive 2 TB external hard drive i7 CPU 12 GB ram Now to learn how to use it
