Profile: Vision2000

Personal background
I am Student at the University of Technology (RWTH) Aachen, Germany.
My Subject is Computer Science. Now I work at the Institute of Machine Engineering.
I was born in 1976. This should be enough information about my age.

My Nick Vision2000 was given by my friends. I always think about the future. Sometimes I speak about the future like the future would be today. Sometimes my Visions become true.

Computer Description

I am proud to have a

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I do think extraterrestrial life exists. But I think extraterrestrial life looks different. I think we find bakteria or other forms. If lifeforms similar to us exist nearby, we would have found each other. And if we think about the possibility that extra life is existing, why do we think life is only existing in or three dimensions? There can be life on the Moon but not in our Time.

2. I think the question about transmiting a beacon is important.
Other intelligent lifeforms can be friendly or agressive. Look at the different cultures of the Mankind. Some people like to shake Hand and others doesn't. Extra life can be agressive, because they misunderstand our beacon.
We should send abstract stuff. For example simple pictures without any real meaning. Randomly chosen things. Just things they would find if they would come for the first time to us.

3. I run SETI@home because I am Vision2000. And when my Computer finds a new resource of Titanium my mission is fulfilled ;-)
