Personal background

I stopped using SETI screensaver for a while. I decided to start things going again since my PC is mostly on but not doing much when I'm not using it. The 200 thingys sounds interesting and the email about it remindered me.

Installed the command-line client as I understand the screensaver it uses more process power to display the cool graphics.

I made 5 Windoze NT services. I also set up the SETIspy to montior each 1. The below link has help on how to do this.

See:

Quick Startup

It a pain to start and stop each service via 'Service'. A quick method of this is to use a BAT file (like shortcut) to start the services.

E.g

NET START [SERVICENAME] /starts a service

NET STOP [SERVICENAME] /starts a service

The End :D

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope that the best 200 spots show something interesting. Not sure how the world would take it though especially religions.
