I live on the small third rock orbiting the Sun. I'm a carbon based life form laced with a dash of cynicism.
I was activated over 75 years ago and I first saw the world upside-down, nothing much has changed since then!
My interest is astronomy. However, my observing days are now virtually over as I can't stand the cold of an English winter clear night anymore! Armchair astronomy now seems much more appealing.
The picture is of our dog Sam, a Border Terrier. Sadly he passed away a few months ago and we have lost a true dear friend and companion who was always there for us with a greeting from his wagging tail. He is greatly missed. |

I run seti@home for my Guru, namely Carl Sagan.
I also hope there is intelligent life out in space, because the older I get the more it seems to me that there is little here on Earth. |
