I'm The Venus Project volunteer and I consider the world as a single organism!
I love Carl Sagan, Neil DeGrass Tyson, Michio Kaku, Jacque Fresco, Backminster Fuller, Richard Dawkins, etc.!
Terraforming and inhabiting other planets is essential for our survival as species, and I'd love to contribute it how I can!

1. I dream to live actively and productively when we meet first extraterristrial civilisations, that we can exchange with for mutual benefit & exchange - technologies, culture, other information, maybe some resources and do common projects, exchange students between planets, maybe even create and bring up children together, strengthen each other, live in synergy...
And it will give a facinating opportunity to look at our barbarian civilization from side, out of this culture and environment, and learn how to improve our culture!
2. It's great! We need to involve actively the more people the better.
We need strong mass media and educational support to involve masses and train specialists. In any society the way it is is created by masses, even by their passiveness and ignorance. When billions of people will actively support, they can push powerful people and the resources for space exploration and terraforming will be provided.
Terraforming and inhabiting other planets is essential for our survival as species!
3. More work with mass media and education, inspiring and involving people!
