I run SETI@Home because I want to be part of something that explores the unknown, something that is larger than myself and something I can learn from. I love the scope of this project and the entire SETI organization. "Retired" now; actually partially-sighted and disabled, being a part of SETI reminds me that it's not all about me; that I am not the center of this vast universe, but a player in it. It's important to me that I participate; I wouldn't miss this for, well, the world.
