| I am IT project manager in banking institution. I like sport (squash, swimming, table-tennis, ..), Internet. And I am very interested in reading sci-fi literature and watching films. My favourite authors is A.C.Clarke, O.S.Card, A. Sapkowski and A. Reynolds. I liked Carl Sagans Contact too. And thats why I am interested in Seti@home programm too. |

I am sure, that extraterrestrial life exists. There is so many planets, so the possibility, that we are there alone is very low. But I cant tell you, when and how will we find them. I dont know it. It could be today, tommorrow, in 100 years or maybe never. And the benefits and dangers, read some sci-fi literature, you will see all possibilities, what can happen. The other civilizations can be 1000s of years in technology before us and they can destroy our planet without reason or friendly help to solve a lot of our problems. They can be 1000s of years back. Look what humans has done in last 100 years.
