I was born in 1958 in former West-Germany. Married, no kids but a doggy pet. I was working as a system engeneer, for one of worlds leading it-providers lately. Specialist for high availability clustering under HP-UX.
Hard to talk about hobbys as there are so many things i like to do. Mainly complex things. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Well to be true, i do crunch for many projects. I think that to aid medical projects makes most sense to me. Anyway i startet cruncing up with SETI in the past.
As astrophsics ist one of my hobbys, in which i've gaind a lot of knowledge meanwhile i do stongly doubth that this project makes any sense. A intellgent beeing, which has a ending life period will never come to the idea trying to establish a universal comunication through a media whichs travels with ligth speed only. Just the idea is that strange that it makes me lough.
Anyway i find SETI sympathic as they came up with the idea do donate and share calculating power. So i'll still spend a some time to this project once in a while. |
