I am a Computer Science Student at the University of Minnesota. I have a very fast internet connection. When I go to rhose silly sites that test connection speed I always get the holy crap you have a fast connection speed response. If you are wondering what me speem is I will tell you. I get between 14.4 Kbits/s all of the way up to 28.8 Kbits/s. So as you can read I pretty much blaze across the internet. But the really interesting thing about me is I own alot of computer. I have 8 P4 2gigers and 5 PIII 800 meders and plenty more PIII and PII that are slower. Thanks for reading this it tickled.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think extraterrestial life exists. It is probably very common. But I think that most of it is probably no smarter than a dog. If you take earth you can see Life is abundant. But intelligent life is not very abundant. Some people will say dogs are really intelligent and so are dolphinss. Well neither of those animals or doing differential eqautions. I think that intelligent life of the type that would be interested in contact with earth are out there. But the thing we have to realize is they will not be like us at all. They could be 5 side symetrical like star fish. But besides the obvious physical differnces they will not live in a world like ours. There will be no berkeley institute to give them liberal ideals. My point is I think what other people have is better than what I have. It is a complex most humans have, but do not admidt too. Well I want what the aliens have and thats why I run SETI.
