Personal background
I'm from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm 39 years old. I work as a councellor in a group home for mentally challenged adults. I enjoy eveything about life especially anything that has to do with the outdoors. I am an avid song writer and play guitar. I think seti@home is an excellent project and well worth while. Is anybody out there? I think so.
If anyone wants to email me about whatever, feel free to do so. Please use as your subject heading, "seti@home" so I know it's not a virus. My email: christopheodonnell@yahoo.ca

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Indeed, extraterrestrial life exists. I think that it will be discovered by analyzing and tracking radio waves throughout the universe. If E.T is discovered and it becomes known to the general public it will cause many people to question their own beliefs. It will rock their own basic foundations. This may cause mass hysteria. Nonetheless, as human beings I think that we must strive to discover the truth and the true meaning of life.
I honestly don't believe that extraterrestrials have ever visited our planet. I believe that there would be strong factual proof to confirm this if it had happened. To me, there isn't strong enough evidence to support this. However, I am sure that there is intelligent life in this vast universe. We just haven't made contact yet. We may never establish contact. The setiathome project surely gives us a much greater chance of discovering that there is, indeed, life out there.
