My name is Kalex (it's my nick name of course), I'm a sysadmin at a small telco. I'm trying to learn hundreds of different things at a time and I enjoy doing so. Currently most of my attention is focused at learning Perl, although NetBackup is giving me a hard time too :-)

I think it's a great project, finding out if (and where, and how) extraterrestrial exists could be the eye-opener this civilisation is yearning for.
And if there appears to be nothing, we will have had good fun competing with our CPUs!
