| I'm from Earth, as many of you could imagine. I'm 17 and I'm into web development and software engineering. Besides that, my hobbies are hiking and biking, not one for socializing much. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I run SETI@home to help in the search of solid, scientific evidence that extraterrestrial beings exist. I personally feel they do, but want to aid in actually proving it.
2. I think this project has lots of potential. I think, with the funding issues that SETI is currently having, SETI@home offers a solution to the scanning of data. By encouraging even the people that work at SETI to run this software in their own homes and directly tie the data SETI gets to the SETi@home project (if not done already), I think this software will offer a viable solution to help SETI restructure their budget, make it more cost efficient and allow them to allocate more funding to actual equipment.
