Personal background |
Residing in the small town of Surrey, BC (Canada, y'all), I scratch out a modest living driving a tow truck for a large metropolitan towing company. I spend most of my nights responding to motorists in distress in one form or another. Also on contract to seven different city branches of local law enforcement for removal and/or recovery of all types of moving violations.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. I run SETI 'cuz my computer(s) are always on. A dumb screen saver that doesn't even strain my C.P.U. is just a waste of time. SETI makes me feel like I'm doing something useful with my free time. I wanted a screen saver that did something useful, a part of something. The computer is always on anyway and SETI was the first to offer a FREE program that did something useful with wasted time.
2. I've watched SETI grow from a little broom closet project tucked away in the back corner of the cloak room into something just short of mankind's hopes and dreams for not only now but the future. Now THAT is special.
3. When you find E.T., don't tell him my address. I get enough junk mail as it is...
