| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@home because I feel that the more computing power added to the search, the less time it will take to find a signal broadcast by another race of technologically capable beings. I find that this project has the right idea when it comes to searching the cosmos, however an attempt to find life that has broken the light barrier will likely be very hard while using only EM radiation sensitive hardware as they may very likely not use communications techniques that are inhibited by that speed limit. |
