I'm 56 years young from NYC. A graduate with a degree in painting but while studying for my liberal arts degree I was required to take some unrelated courses.I chose astronomy and was hooked. My first professor was a straight forward instructor but I wanted to study on. My second course professor was a student of Carl Sagan's, from there I was hooked. He had the same wild crazy energy as Carl and totally fascinated me.
While surfing the internet I fell upon Einstein@home and immediately downloaded the application. So here I am, what a great way to participate in a research program when funds for doing any science are scarce. Hopefully more will join in.
