My name is Johannes Lemmerer and I am from Austria. By my Seti@Home efforts I hope to contibute to finding intelligent life out there in the far reaches of space. I am currently employed in mobilkom austrias isp department working as sysadmin.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My opinion is that aliens (there are so many planets and solar systems out there - it is arrogant to say that we are the only intelligent species in the whole universe) will help a great deal for even if we will never be able to travel to them (I still believe that the light barrier is not penetratable) we might still be able to establish communication with them and, maybe, can learn from our past experiences so that we can build a better future.
