Personal background
I am a Technical Solutions Expert who has devoted the last few years to web development, internet marketing, and business solutions for growing companies. My career started 17 years ago in the US Air Force as an avionics technician. With two tours as a Gulf War veteran under my belt, I changed career paths and finished my active duty career as a Nuclear Forensics specialist for the Air Force Technical Applications Center, an organization devoted to monitoring the world for nuclear testing under the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty. During this time in the military, I earned degrees in Avionics, Electronics and Applied Sciences. After finishing up my tour of duty I went back to this same organization as a civilian contractor acting as Technical Analyst for a 24/7 Systems Control Center responsible for providing its customers with ‘all the data, all the time’. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.

‘Jack, of all trades, master of none’. I am currently employed with Support.com, and also provide small to medium sized companies with business solutions specializing in web development, search engine optimization, marketing consultation, and e-commerce solutions.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I was a member of SETI years ago, when the project first started. I first read Carl Sagan's 'the Cosmos' when I was 18 years old, and since then have never turned down the opportunity to watch a Nova special. I believe that the existance of life on other planets isn't 'possible', it's a gaurantee. If we were able to find any trace of intelligence, it would change the world forever. I want to be a part of that.
