| Hi, I'm known online as SPARTAN-113. I live in Baton Rouge, La. I am going to major in astronautical engineering when I graduate from highschool. I have a form of autism known as Asperger's Syndrome, but I am a functioning autistic. I just never developed social skills like the average human, so I must imitate all of the expressions I use (gestures, body language, other common-sense things) and take everything literally. It is not a disease, especially not one to be treated, because to 'cure' it would be to destroy 'me', or my personality. If I do something you do not understand or that is deemed socially unacceptable, please ask me to explain/inform me of the taboo. |

I run SETI@home to further scientific progress.
I have already brought the idea of using BOINC on my highschool's computer network to my principal, and for suggestions, I do not know what could be done in order to improve the program, except to perhaps have it come pre-installed as a default program on Microsoft or Apple computers, thus greatly expanding its usage. But I doubt Microsoft cares about a project that has no economic practicality. |
