Personal background
I am an archivist and therefore interested in preserving the past.
Doing research in our past I find that we have been visited and inherited knowledge by someone from far away from this planet.
Our planet is full of evidence.
I furthermore believe that this planet has been visited long before mankind existed and that our evolution is being monitored.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I want to help and since I can, I do.
2. I think SETI is a great project, heard about it in the late 80s, am still a Carl Sagan fan and I hope that together we can make the difference.
3. I would sometimes like to be able to choose the files I'd like my PC to search :-)
In my opinion, I strongly believe that around the belt of Orion we could really find something. Reading old scriptures pointing at that direction and ancient architecture giving us hints that we should take seriously.
