I am a 52 year old photographer/guitarist/computer and network systems design engineer and consultant from Chicago, Il. I run SETI@Home because I have seen UFO's. Simple as that... I believe they're 'out there'. I don't really believe they use any radio-wave frequencies we use at all, more likely a brain-wave frequency, if it were me dialing in the numbers.
But it's not, so I'll continue going along with those much brighter than I in this field.
I'm doing SETI@Home also, because I recently built a new fire-breathing PC. I have a Core i7-965 (the 975 came out a month after I got the 965! Grrz. lol) and what was the fastest single GPU video card on the market, the nVidia GTX 285 SSC (OC'ed by EVGA). I didn't want to sit around and let this much computer just do nothing!
