# Why do you run SETI@home?
Well, good question. Once I decided to run SETI, cause I have had lots of CPUtime left. Free CPUtime is still senseless, so I decided to start calculating SETI. A bitafter that, I started to read about what is SETI - and I came to the conclusion that SETI is not only my CPUheater ;) If we ever figure out what there is in outer space, the SETI-Project will do that (or some alienes will tell SETI where they have to look ;)
