My name is Ron and I live in Rochester, New York. I am legally-blind, near-40, married and have two dogs. I am a science fan, computer and tech geek, and have a degree in radio & tv production. I graduated from U South Florida in 1996.
I spend a lot of time watching Discovery, Science, History, TLC, Planet Green, and other similar networks. I am also a big Apple computer fan. so much so that I had my prosthetic eye customized with the Apple logo as the pupil. ( you can see it at my personal website: www.MyEyeMac.info ) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think it is a great project to get community involvement around the world. People always have some downtime on their computers so why not tap into that resource by asking for help. I realized that my PC sits mostly unused so i run SETI@home all day and night, giving a six-hour break to allow for cool down and system maintenance. |
