Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

first off "We are not alone " , we just need to commit to better technology to find them .

Why do i run this program?:......
I run this program at home in hopes to be someday able to prove it beyound a shadow of a doubt!

my views:.....
you ask how might this project be improved..easy answer for me ...not for others... get your signal off the ground and away from the noise floor of the planet and if you think money is stopping you , then how about the money spent on killing each other? yes im harsh , but i also realize that sooner or later the planest resources will run OUT! if we havent gotten off our butts to do something about that problem then what ?

any suggestions?...
if we dont learn to live with one another then those with greater intelligence than us will never let us find them !
Look at it this way...if i dont want you reading my program or unlocking my door , then i fix the problem. What makes us think others out there arent doing just that ? They may not be a planet of warring beings like we are and may not want to let us know thay are there. Untill we as a planet come together and start helping each other and let greed find the trash can! ! This world has been once again taken over by greed and it must stop , im here looking to the stars to see if there may be a way of doing just that ......to coin a phrase ..calling home.....
ok so i have said my incorrect political statment , now for the real anwser for you .....
is a narrow beam the best we have , or can come up with ?
if it were up to me i would first get all the transmit and recieve gear off the planet and onto a geostationary man made planet ...to much noise here,,,,then find a new way of transmitting and recieving ....we havent gotten out of the woods yet where that is concerned. untill we do we wont know what the trees look like. more to come if any one likes...
