Hi I am Vivek from Cochin,a city by the side of the Arabian Sea.Its located in the state of Kerala,at the southern tip of India.
I am a computer engineer currently doing my last year of graduation.
My fields of interest are unix,networking,programming,AI,parallel processing,astronomy,astrology,history,metaphysics and physics.
My hobbies are to read and understand about my fields of interest,play hockey and cricket,going for adventure trips and nature photography. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1.I run SETI@home as my system remains power up for small network activities and has lots of juice left in it...and also I wanted to try out such a popular project which involves such huge number of participants.I enjoy the entire experience.
2.My views on the project are that its revolutionary and also gives a unity among people of this planet in searching for ETI without having to purchase huge and expensive supercomputers. |
