| I am 36. I live in London and work for a company that hires out cameras and cameramen. My job involves organising the kit and crew for shoots for television and all aspects of broadcast media. I am also responsible for the design + administration of the company website. I like fishing, snowboarding, gaming + reading. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I am interested in the search for extra-terrestrial life and convinced by the numbers involved that it must be out there, although almost certainly not in this galaxy; which would mean that the radio-waves we have been sending for 200 years would still have another 2 million years to travel before they reach our closest neighbor galaxy (the considerably larger Andromeda galaxy). So I am not sure we will find intelligent life this way, but the idea of the co-operative processing network interests me too. And you never know.. |
