Profile: Fred@Net

Personal background
Hi!
My name is Frederik or Fred like buddies call me and I am from Germany.

I made my ABI (like graduation on highschool in US) some weeks ago and now I'm ready for studying or to get a job...
I'm mainly interested in movies (especially how they are made, the cast and crew and so on), computers and since I have one, also in pocket PCs and other pda's.I also like the TV shows CSI and the Star Trek series. When I had my exchange program with the USA,I met my exchange pupil Sam who now studies in Berkeley, I think thats kind of cool.

So if you wanna chat with me about movies, seti or anything else, feel free to e-m@il me!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm proud to be a member of the largest computer project of planet earth.
It is fascinating to know, that every user connected to the web can be part of this project and can make it a bit more efficent. Well, the fastes super computer on this world can't do this job alone but all togehter we are able to!
Of course I don't KNOW, if extraterrestrial life exists, but the possibility is quite large. Or do you think we are alone in an endless,(maybe) expanding universe? By seti@home we may see...

One important thing humans should not forget:
If we continue to destroy our environment and ourselves, if we continue to torture animals as well as humans and if we continuate wars and violence, no extra terristrial will be interested to contact such a civilzation.
