I am from Arnold, Missouri and am sixteen years old. I am currently a student at Fox High School. I am interested in many subjects such as music and astronomy. I am excited to be using the SETI@home software.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that we will one day make contact with an extraterrestrial civilization and it will be the most important event in human history. this is why I run SETI@home. I believe the SETI@home project is a very important step in making contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. I think this project may lead to the detection of extraterrestrials. I believe that this system should be more in the the public eye. The project currently relies on mostly word of mouth, but small amounts of advertising could lead to major expansion of the project. Also the prroject should not rely on only one observatory. The entire project relies one results from one observatory. This greatly endangers the project.
