| I'm a 32 year old living in the southeastern USA. I initially started participating in the BOINC projects in 2008 with SETI@home and Rosetta@home. Since then I've participated in those, Denis@home, PrimeGrid, and Asteroid@home (where I have nearly reached my first one million points earned). As for why I chose SETI@home, I don't believe we're the only intelligent life out there in the universe. Whether or not we detect the neeed signs through SETI, I like to think I'm helping move further its goal (and science in general, as I feel for the other projects) by doing what little I can to help out. |
