Personal background |
Hi there.
I'm a secondary school teacher in South Australia, teaching at Blackwood High School, in Adelaide's inner south. I am 40 years old and teach English and History and run the International Baccalaureate and Humanities faculties at my school.
I have always had an interest in astronomy, though not always from a truly scientific basis (to be honest I enjoy sci-fi).
My interests include reading, films, travel and rugby. I travelled in Germany a number of years ago and found it to be an interesting country. This, linked to my involvement in an international learning programme, is what led me to associate myself with a German school's SETI programme. Maybe I'll hear from someone!
Cheers

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I don't know if there is anything out there, but the opportunity to take part in the search is something that can't be ignored. Taking part is, to my mind, incredibly important...it's somehow less passive...and to my mind there are too many passive individuals in our world:-) |
