I run SETI@home for the same reason I donate blood.
I can!
Many cannot!
But I can.
I'd love to confirm something I believe to be true, other intelligent life forms in this universe.
Your average full stop is over 10,000,000 atoms across.
It's unreasonable to think there isn't more life in the universe than us.
I only hope we don't shoot first.
