| I am a 46 year old, a physician, specifically an obstetrician that specializes in moms with medical problems and ICU issues, who grew up with the legend of Captian Kirk and Mr. Spock. I live in Central New York, right off the coast of Lake Ontario and work in Syracuse. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I run SETI@home because I can not possibly imagine a more important moment in the history of, well, history than finding some kind of hint that this "small planet, of a minor star, cast off on the edge of an inconsiderable galaxy" is not all there is. If I, or my computer for that matter, could be even a micoscopic part of that moment, I want in!
2. Not much to add here. SETI is on the edge of creative thinking that could potentially lead to great discovery.
