Personal background
I live in Toronto, in my 7th decade, and have always thought there is a future in the Fire Escape trade...koo koo to you
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The project was only started a few months before I joined
I would not have even known about it, but my father saw a write up and showed it to me and said, you can use your computer to find alien life!
So you can see I have classic Seti@home work units, This was pre Boinc which was a framework for other projects to jump on the bandwagon
I notice that most the active members on standings have been around for a long time too.
Funny how processing power has changed. In 2019 I will have been running seti@home for 20 years.
It took me 18 years to get to the first page...today I could get half way up it in 1 year
I just wish more members would stay active.

I think this is a good idea. Might take centuries, but its a great gamble base don good science
