Profile: Ian Francis

Personal background
I was born in 1983, and I am an Ohio State student majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in nuclear engineering. Married to my beautiful wife Ashly since 2006. I work part time at the Ohio Supercomputer Center where the majority of my hosts reside.

I am currently running my company laptop, home desktop, office workstation, and a bunch of old surplus computers OSC was not using anymore. They aren't much, but they are free. Please give thanks, at least in part to OSU and the State of Ohio for footing the electric bill. Been doing volunteer computing off and on for many years, though not as seriously as I am now.

If anyone knows of any old worthless computers that are just sitting around and free in the Columbus, OH area, I am more than willing to take them off your hands and use them towards a good cause. Seeing as we run multiple supercomputers 24/7, the state shouldn't mind me adding in a few more.
