My name is John M. Polard and I am from Belgium (50°52'08N 004°10'20" e).
52 years since last September 2003 and busy with engineering explosion proof equipments for hazardous areas (www.kermaz.fr)
I do radio astronomy nearly since I was born and hope to do it even after my visit on earth.
My site is http://web.wanadoo.be/merlin and I describe there a simple station for novice in R.A.
My interest in SETI is motivated, not because one cannot find intelligence on earth, but because I am convinced that we are not alone.
That all what we have to dream on this earth, and I want to continue to dream.

1. YES and human will discover it the day they will be humble enough to accept they are not alone and they must look after other intelligences. What was the benefit and the danger for Columbus to discover the US ? This is the same for extra terrestrial intelligence.
2. yes and we should send music (classical jazz and modern) because intelligence is in the music. If people can spend time to write music they have a great level of intelligence.
3. I want to dream and your project is really the clever way to do it.
I have no pertinent suggestion for the moment ... let me some time
