I am a Biochemist from Berlin, Germany. I am a geek with a PhD and the license to compute SETI units. I am armed with my trusty laptop and mostly harmless.
I read Slashdot when I am supposed to do real work, because it is always nice to meet people who are even geekier than myself. Oh - and as the cartoon shows, I am also a big Lord Of The Rings fan.
