Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe it is perhaps possible that there exists intelligent life outside of our planet. The odds are definitely against us stumbling upon such life given the size of the universe and the problem with the time it takes for radio signals to reach earth from distant stars/galaxies. This is a worthwhile effort however and hopefully someday it will bear fruit.
